I have dyscalculia, which much like dyslexia, affects the areas of the brain that handle math and number related skills and understanding. My experience of dyscalculia is that the numbers keep changing, so I do most of my measuring using objects and marks, avoiding the number figures as much as possible as I will likely write the wrong numbers down. In order to determine how the 3 legs would be arranged on the underside of this table, I made a drawing of minimums, maximums and found that the table – a circle and I 3-sided pyramid, actually embraced some Bauhaus ideas, so I embellished those, and let the joy spill over the tabletop..
