This Saturday my work "Climax" will be included as a part of the "Unpolished" Exhibition at the Center for Peace Through Culture! This will be the first time my 3-dimensional work has been included in an exhibit!
The opening night of the show will be on Saturday, September 7 from 5 to 7 pm in Housatonic, MA. Linda @imisslinda2000 and I would love to see you there! It should be a fun and interesting exhibit!

My lamp "Climax" was just accepted into the "Unpol

My lamp "Climax" was just accepted into the "Unpolished" exhibit at the Center for Peace Through Culture. I'm very happy about this as this is first time one of my lamps has been selected for an exhibit. Yay! The opening reception is September 7, from 5-7 PM. The center is at 137 Front Street, Housatonic, MA 01236. I'll be posting this again (and again!)

Making a tool to make a tool that’s just for one use…

A company called me to take some high tech equipme

A company called me to take some high tech equipment rather than scrapping and recycling it. In this wafer probe, I have the core pieces for at least 5 chandeliers and a spectacular garden bench. Each piece is staggeringly beautiful. Designed by engineers and constructed by machinists, each piece is a wonder of design and beauty. Figuring out how to disassemble and move these pieces, some of which are heavier than me, is very relaxing and calming. Not nearly as hard on my head as building new furnishings will be when I finish deconstruction. I am overjoyed to be gifted with the vision to turn these works of engineering and machining art imbued with economic purpose into new works of art, imbued with utility and personal meaning, and extend their lives into another cycle of purpose, while avoiding a resource consumptive recycling process.
